I'm 28 and it ain't too late...

...Yes I know the title is a little 'Dr Seuss-like' but that's one of my signature writing styles that I'm embracing, rather than rejecting.

...Yes my 'Dr Seuss-like' writing has been rejected on occasion but sometimes you must persevere in the face of adversity.

And now we can finally get onto the meaning of the title - since I've already dealt with 'writing paranoia'.

I'm 28. I've just become it actually - been it for 8 days. I'm not sure it's the greatest start to being 28: a ridiculous all-day long hangover, about to lose my job (was asked to consider a career change) and my bum is still too big to get into my favourite pair of black trousers - despite the fact that I've been to the gym 21 times since 23rd December 05.

However, I'm an optimist - so hence the second part of my title: ... it ain't too late. I'm relying on the fact that it's still the start of the year, and as I'm still in my twenties: it ain't too late.

Ain't too late for what I hear you ask? For a lot of things really. It's not too late to learn new tricks. It's never too late for great things to happen! And it sure as hell ain't too late to realise I need to change a few things about my life...
